A Tanzania 5 Day Safari gives you enough time to explore the country’s top wildlife parks—usually the Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, Tarangire, and Lake Manyara. This safari includes daily game drives, big wildlife sightings, comfortable lodges or tented camps, and a complete safari experience designed for travelers who want a deeper, well-paced adventure in just five days.
Your adventure begins with a drive from Arusha to Tarangire National Park, famous for its large elephant herds and ancient baobab trees. Enjoy a full-day game drive through diverse landscapes dotted with wildlife such as giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and lions. In the evening, head to your lodge or tented camp near the park for dinner and relaxation.
After breakfast, journey through the highlands and into the endless plains of the Serengeti, one of Africa’s most iconic safari destinations. Along the way, stop at a scenic viewpoint or Maasai village (optional). Arrive in the Serengeti by mid-day and enjoy your first thrilling game drive, where you may spot cheetahs, elephants, and large prides of lions. Overnight inside the park under the vast African sky.
Spend the entire day exploring the Serengeti National Park, known for its incredible wildlife and annual migration of wildebeest and zebras. Early morning and late afternoon game drives offer the best chances to see predators in action. Return to your camp or lodge in the evening for a warm meal and stories by the campfire.
Wake up early for a sunrise game drive before departing the Serengeti. After breakfast, travel to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Descend 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater, home to over 25,000 animals including black rhinos, hippos, and flamingos. Enjoy a picnic lunch on the crater floor before heading to your accommodation at the crater’s rim.
After breakfast, drive to Lake Manyara National Park, known for its tree-climbing lions, pink flamingos, and lush forests. Enjoy a morning game drive before returning to Arusha in the afternoon, marking the end of your unforgettable 5-day Tanzania safari.
