Your adventure begins at Momella Gate, where you complete park formalities and meet your ranger guide. The trek starts through open grassland and dense rainforest, where you may spot wildlife such as giraffes, buffaloes, and colobus monkeys. The trail gradually ascends to Miriakamba Hut, offering stunning views of the surrounding landscape and Mount Meru’s crater.

After breakfast, continue your ascent through the forest and into the heather and moorland zone. The trail becomes steeper as you approach Saddle Hut, located in a beautiful alpine meadow.
