Your safari begins with a morning drive from Dar es Salaam to Nyerere National Park, formerly known as Selous Game Reserve. Enjoy the changing landscapes as you approach one of Africa’s largest protected areas.Arrive in time for lunch at your lodge or camp, followed by a relaxing break. In the afternoon, head out for a boat safari on the Rufiji River, famous for its hippos, crocodiles, birdlife, and beautiful scenery. The sunset views over the river make this experience unforgettable.Dinner and overnight at your lodge/camp.
Start your day with an early breakfast before heading out for a full-day game drive through the diverse habitats of Nyerere National Park. This vast park offers incredible wildlife viewing, including elephants, lions, wild dogs, giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeests, impalas, and abundant birdlife. After lunch inside the park, continue your game drive before beginning your journey back to Dar es Salaam, arriving in the evening.
