Tour overview

7 Days Tanzania Odyssey

This 7-day Tanzania Odyssey from Arusha takes you to Lake Manyara and Ngorongoro Crater before giving you three days to explore the world’s most popular National Park’s “endless plains.”

The baboons of Lake Manyara National Park are well-known, and it’s also a great place to see hippos, giraffes, elephants, and tree-climbing lions. A game drive in the afternoon allows you to see these animals at their most competitive.

Ngorongoro Crater, the world’s largest open, dormant volcanic crater, is one of Africa’s most important wildlife conservation areas, home to over 25,000 large animals such as lions, zebra, wildebeest, and gazelles. It’s also one of the few places to see black rhinos, the most endangered of the Big 5.

The Serengeti National Park is Tanzania’s crown jewel, famous for its annual wildebeest and zebra migration. The Big 5 (more than 3,000 lions and 1,000 leopards live in the Serengeti), cheetahs, hyenas, baboons, African wild dogs, and giraffes are among the other species. Bird watchers should keep an eye out for the more than 500 species of birds that call the plains home.
