Tour overview

3 Days Tanzania Honeymoon Safari

This 3 Days Tanzania Honeymoon Safari is ideal for individuals who only have limited time and want to visit Tanzania’s most popular national parks. With the exception of the Serengeti, this journey will provide you with a deep overview of Tanzania’s national parks in a short period of time.

3 Days Tanzania Honeymoon Safari Itinerary

Day 1: Arusha – Tarangire National Park

At 8 a.m., we will pick you up from your hotel and transport you to a very special national park. Tarangire is well-known for its diverse landscape, which includes nine different vegetation zones. The park is particularly well-known for its abundance of Ancient Baobab trees (the continent’s largest trees), which dominate the landscape and dwarf the animals that live alongside them.

The park’s river is teeming with wildlife, including a wide variety of birds, lions, leopards, zebras, giraffes, buffaloes, antelopes, and, of course, elephants. In fact, the park has the highest concentration of elephants in the country and offers unique opportunities to observe the interaction of elephant families.

The lunch area is fascinating, with an observatory offering breathtaking views of the river and wildlife (with good chances of seeing a hunt while having your picnic). We will still go on a game drive in the afternoon before returning to your accommodation.

Dinner and overnight at Lodge / Tented Camp
Meals plan: Lunch, Dinner and Breakfast.

Day 2: Tarangire – Lake Manyara National Park

After an early breakfast, depart for Lake Manyara for a  full day game drive. Despite its small size (205 square miles), the park has stunning scenery and is well known for its lush acacia forest, giant figs, and mahogany trees, as well as a growing population of baboons and blue monkeys. Giraffes, elephants, impalas, and a large number of buffaloes are also permanent residents of this park. The lake also has a large population of hippos. The tree climbing lions and the flamingos on the lakeshore are two of the park’s unique features.

The landscapes of Lake Manyara are indescribable, and game drives along the lake provide breathtaking photo opportunities of giraffes and buffaloes in the foreground and the lake in the background. There are some optional tours available, such as a bike tour or a boat excursion. Transfer to Ngorongoro in the afternoon for an overnight stay.

Day 3: Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha

After breakfast, drive to Ngorongoro Crater with a lunch box and spend the entire day on a game drive in the crater. The Ngorongoro Crater is one of the world’s most densely populated African wildlife areas, with an estimated 30,000 animals, including some of Tanzania’s last remaining black rhino.

The crater supports a diverse range of animals, including herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo, and giant African elephants, thanks to a year-round supply of water and fodder. Another major draw to this picturesque national park is its large predator population, which includes lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and the elusive leopard. Late afternoon drive back to Arusha.
