3 Days Mount Meru Climb Itinerary
Mount Meru is Africa’s fifth highest peak, situated in Tanzania. It’s a fantastic mountain to climb, with stunning scenery and views of Mount Kilimanjaro. In comparison to Mount Kilimanjaro and Mount Kenya, the mountain is unspoiled and less congested.
The mountain is situated within Arusha National Park. Walkers can see some of the birds and animals that live in the area because of its prime location. For those who are physically fit, many climbers choose a 3-day Mount Meru climb. The path to the summit is very steep, passing through parkland, montane forest, a giant heather region, and moorland, as well as crossing streams. A narrow, barren ridge leads to the top, which offers spectacular views of the Ash Cone, which lies thousands of feet below in the crater.

You'll start climbing into the rainforest in the afternoon and stay in the Miriakamba huts for the night.
Day 2: Miriakamba Huts - Saddle Huts
Today, you'll leave the lush rainforest and enter the more arid heath region, which is peppered with giant clumps of heather and other moorland scrubs. Hiking along Mount Meru Crater's ridge provides spectacular views of the crater and the Ash Tray.
Those with a little extra energy can climb to the summit of Little Mount Meru for a panoramic view of Arusha and the surrounding area.
Day 3: Saddle Huts - Socialist Point - Arusha
Today, you'll have to get up early. In reality, it was about 1:00 a.m. The trail to the summit of Mt. Meru is steep, and it passes through volcanic terrain through Rhino Point and Cobra Point before arriving at Socialist Point.
